Prof. Michael Chen

Lab Director & Professor

Prof. Michael Chen is a renowned expert in artificial intelligence with over 20 years of research experience. He founded AICIL in 2017 with a vision to advance AI research that benefits society. His research interests span machine learning theory, neural architecture search, and transfer learning. Before joining the university, he was a senior researcher at MIT CSAIL and spent five years at Google Brain working on foundational AI technologies.
